Autumn. The season when there is more rain than sunshine outside, and this year it is doubly true. We wake up to a rainy morning, we are more sleepy than usual, and nobody wants a warm bed. We usually don’t have time or appetite for breakfast, and we think that we can save everything with a good dose of coffee, and we often drink it on the go, because we don’t have time.
Well, that can be changed. How about getting up ten minutes earlier, making a fresh smoothie and drinking it on the way to work or school? A morning smoothie will pick you up, supply the body with the right vitamins, improve your mood and make the day more productive.
I have prepared 6 recipes for healthy drinks for you. 3 for fruit smoothies and 3 for vegetables.
1. Banana-strawberry smoothie with chia seeds
- 1 banana
- 150g of strawberries
- Chia seeds
Cut the bananas into smaller pieces and put them in a blender. Remove the green stem from the strawberries and add to the banana. Add chia seeds and cover with water. Blend until the fruit is blended to your desired consistency.
2. Pear-mango smoothie
- 1 mango
- 1 pear
Clean the mango and pear and cut them into small pieces. Put them in a blender and blend.
3. Apple-raspberry smoothie
- Red Apple
- 150g of raspberries
Clean the apple, cut it into small pieces, put it together with the raspberries in a blender and cover with water. If the apple is too sweet for you, you can add honey and mix it to your liking.
4. Cucumber-spinach smoothie
- Baby spinach
- salad cucumber
Wash the baby spinach, cut the skin, bitter edges from the cucumber and cut it into small pieces. Put in a blender, add water and blend.
5. Carrot smoothie
- One and a half carrots
Peel the carrot, cut it and put it in a blender. Add water and blend until the smoothie is smooth.
6. Beet smoothie
- One small raw beetroot
- Vegetable milk
- Chia seeds
Clean the beetroot, cut it into small pieces, put it in a blender, cover it with vegetable milk, add chia seeds and blend it to the desired consistency.
